An Exclusive Jewelry Ensemble by Local artist, Sam Shaw of Northeast Harbor
The "Acadia Ensemble."
Not just a piece, but an entire ensemble of necklace, ring and bracelet. Three pieces representing Mount Desert Island, Isle au Haut and Schoodic.
The ensemble is resplendent with symbolism and references to our cherished park. This is a unique collection to be worn together or separate. It is a mix of precious and non precious materials. The gold used in this collection is recycled, meaning that there was no mining, no disruption of the earth, to collect the metals used in these pieces.
The palate of colors makes it versatile with the seasons and what outfit you plan to accessorize. You will not find another piece like these offered exclusively for Friends of Acadia and the benefit of our park.
