Contribute now and help us kick off our Annual Fund Campaign by meeting our $20,000 Fall Challenge!
Acadia is dressed in autumn finery, with stunning reds, yellows, and oranges lighting up the park’s dramatic mountainsides and glacial-carved valleys, but the recent government shutdown is a sad reminder of what this magnificent place would be like if Acadia’s lands were privately owned and permanently inaccessible. These striking landscapes, and the forest trees that make them glow, are here for us all to enjoy because of foresighted individuals like you who created and continue to protect Acadia National Park.
But Acadia’s protection depends on an ongoing effort. With your membership we accomplish so much, but there’s more to be done. Before all the leaves fall, please help us get a jump on our Annual Fund Campaign with a contribution to the 2013 Fall Challenge.
A challenge grant from several dedicated park friends will match all donations between today and October 28, up to $10,000. This will give our 2013 Annual Fund Campaign a $20,000 kickoff to further our work to preserve Acadia National Park’s special places and precious resources.
I hope you will help us meet our 2013 Fall Challenge by making a donation to Friends of Acadia today. Click here to donate now—we have just ten days! Your gift will be doubled, to work twice as hard for this magnificent place.
We appreciate your past support of FOA. You’ve already shown your commitment to preserving this beloved place for generations to come. I hope you take pride in all that we accomplish for Acadia with your help.
