The Swan Agency of Bar Harbor selected Friends of Acadia as one of ten nonprofit beneficiaries for 2022. This program is part of the agency’s SHARING OUR SUCCESS 2022 PROGRAM.

Clients of the Swan Agency will be given a “closing gift” of a donation made in their name to one of these community organizations on behalf of their broker and Swan Agency. “All of these groups are an important part of what makes living here so special. We believe in the valve of giving back, and we want to do so in ways that are fun and unique.” says Kim Swan.

Other nonprofit recipients include Acadia Wildlife Foundation, Frenchman Bay Conservancy, Hospice of Hancock County, Island Connections, Island Housing Trust, Maine Seacoast Mission, Mount Desert Island Pet Food Pantry, Mount Desert Island History Trust, and Mount Desert Island Hospital.
