32nd Benefit a Sustaining Success!

Thank you to the more than 500 people who registered and 183 who participated in Friends of Acadia’s 32nd Annual Benefit. We are truly honored and impressed by the generosity of all those who love and want to help preserve and sustain the natural wonder of this special place – Acadia National Park.
Thank you to the Benefit Committee, this year’s co-chairs Laura and Vassar Pierce, Chilton Trust – our Presenting Sponsor, and to all the volunteers, staff, Christie’s auctioneer Lydia Fenet, AND all our bidders and donors for making the second virtual Benefit in Friends of Acadia’s history a success!

A highlight of every Benefit is the Paddle Raise.
Proceeds from the 2021 Paddle Raise are helping to fund Greening Acadia: Advancing Sustainability in the Park. The purpose of this fund is for Acadia National Park to purchase electric vehicles and equipment, and to make capital improvements to reduce the park’s carbon footprint and emissions. Replacing vehicles and equipment with electric or more fuel-efficient options will allow Acadia to increase efficiency and add a margin of excellence by improving environmental performance, reducing utility costs and transportation expenses.
We raised over $330,000 the night of the Benefit Auction for Greening Acadia, and contributions are still coming in from those who couldn’t attend. See the form below to make your donation to Greening Acadia now.

About the Friends of Acadia Annual Benefit

The Friends of Acadia Annual Benefit has become a wonderful tradition celebrating conservation, friendship, and philanthropy, all to benefit Acadia National Park. Since its inception in 1990, the Benefit has raised over $15 million for Acadia; providing critical funds to support new and ongoing programs in Acadia that engage youth, protect natural and cultural resources, and contribute to a quality visitor experience in the park.

Benefit Patrons help to underwrite the costs of the event.

Thank you all!
