“Chuck’s Big Adventure,” out of Indianapolis, IN, came to Acadia and spoke with Friends of Acadia’s Summit Stewards about Leave No Trace and the Cadillac reservation system. The visit was part of a New England tour of fall foliage, and Chuck new Acadia was a prime place to appreciate the colors of the season.

During his trip, Chuck spoke with Summit Steward Coordinator Stephanie Ley and Summit Steward Dan Holbrook about the stunning park vistas that lure visitors in, and the work of the Summit Stewards to educate those visitors on how to be stand-out stewards of our national parks.

Stephanie also noted the Cadillac reservation system that was implemented to improve both the visitor experience for those driving up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain and the impact traffic has on the park.
