Celebrating Acadia With Our Friends

2021 Annual Meeting

Please join us at the Friends of Acadia Annual Meeting Wednesday, July 7 at 4-5 p.m. to celebrate our collective accomplishments, look to the future, and share the Acadia love. We will be hosting a virtual event via Zoom and Facebook Live. ALL are welcome to attend.

While we are disappointed to not be in person again this year due to the lingering pandemic, we’re excited that we can include more members from across the country in the virtual format.

The Annual Meeting brings together our “friends” community and provides the opportunity to hear about our recent accomplishments and initiatives and get updates from the park.

To join the Annual Meeting, simply click here on July 7 at 4 p.m. The meeting will also be streamed live on our Facebook page and on the website here.

In addition to the Annual Meeting, we hope you’ll join us as we celebrate “Acadia Week” July 5-9, with live broadcasts from the beautiful Bar Harbor Inn. Each live lunchtime broadcast from 12-12:30 p.m. will feature a guest who has made an impact on Acadia National Park. Tune in to Friends of Acadia’s Facebook page for the livestream or click here for the full program schedule and to watch live via our website.

Friends of Acadia broadcasted the 2020 Annual Meeting online to ensure the safety of all during the COVID-19 pandemic. FOA Board Chair Anne Green and FOA President David McDonald sat in front of cameras streaming live as FOA Acadia Digital Media Team managed the broadcast cameras and switchboard.
