What is Your ‘Why’ for Acadia National Park?

What is your ‘why’ for supporting Acadia National Park? Why do you return to Acadia’s trails, shores, and summits? Maybe it’s the quiet of a foggy morning on Jordan Pond. Or the thrill of a child’s first summit. Maybe it’s the joy of volunteering, or the memories made at a favorite campground.

Whatever your reason, one thing is clear: you love Acadia. During our Fall 2025 E-Challenge, you can help Friends of Acadia spread the word and double our impact for the park by becoming an E-Challenge Ambassador. Feel free to use the language, images, and videos below to share on social media – or create your own. If there’s a particular person’s video that you connect with, you’re welcome to share it! Otherwise, there’s a video that includes all five participants’ ‘whys’ for Acadia.

Thank you for helping us do lasting work in Acadia National Park!
