Strategic Investments Generate
Impact for Acadia

Thanks to our donors, Friends of Acadia has helped acquire privately held land inside park boundaries, inform visitors about the interesting native plants in the park, rehabilitate Acadia’s historic and iconic buildings, and more. These investments will help keep Acadia a vital resource for future generations to enjoy.

Friends of Acadia supports a variety of initiatives and programs that are important to Acadia National Park and fall outside of the four focus areas of Wild Acadia, Tomorrow’s Stewards, the Acadia Experience, and Trails and Carriage Road investments. This work covers a variety of topics and is determined based on need and in partnership with the park.
