On Tuesday, January 25, the Southwest Harbor Public Library hosted a virtual presentation and discussion: “Cross Country Skiing on Mount Desert Island.” Speakers at this presentation included guidebook author Hope Rowan, skier and Acadia Winter Trails Association volunteer groomer Mark Fernald, Friends of Acadia Conservation Manager Paige Steele, and Acadia National ParkTrails Foreman Gary Stellpflug.
