Will you help us raise $12,000 in 10 days to connect more kids to Acadia?

Can you act now to help us get twice as many kids “in the picture” at Acadia?
The children who fall in love with Acadia today will be the adults who care for this place 50 years from now. As a member of Friends of Acadia, you understand that. All of our work—to maintain historic trails and carriage roads, to preserve the Acadia visitor experience, and to protect Acadia’s lands, waters, wildlife, and starry skies—depends on our success in connecting kids, teens, and young adults to the wonders of Acadia National Park.
Now our members have an opportunity to strengthen our youth programs—and all of our important efforts in Acadia—with a $12,000 Spring Membership E-Challenge from a small group of committed friends. Every gift made to Friends of Acadia between now and Monday, March 14, will be matched until we reach the $12,000 goal. Please help—we have just 10 days!

This will give our spring membership appeal a $24,000 boost just when we’re hiring teens and college students for the summer and reaching out to schools about transportation scholarships and other ways to introduce students to Acadia.
FOA is proud of all the connections we build in Acadia, and we hope you are too. It could not happen without your support—thank you.
With gratitude,
David MacDonald, Friends of Acadia President & CEO
PS: If you contribute to meet our fall challenge now, we won’t mail you a membership appeal letter later this month. Good for you, good for us, good for the environment, and good for Acadia most of all!
