Digital Marketing Manager

Eliza helps Friends of Acadia implement a digital-forward approach to communicating with and engaging members and donors, volunteers, local communities, visitors, and other key stakeholders. She manages Friends of Acadia’s social media channels, email marketing, and advertising campaigns. She works closely with the Communications & Marketing Team to create and implement digital content in all forms, and with the Development Team to plan and execute membership campaigns and special events.

Born and raised in Bar Harbor, Eliza went to college and grad school at Clark University, then spent nearly a decade living in Austin, Texas, and Denver, Colorado working in various marketing and development roles at nonprofits, startups, and higher education institutions. Most recently, she worked for Mount Desert 365 in Northeast Harbor as Communications and Development Manager.

In 2020, Eliza decided there was truly no place like home, so she moved back to Hancock County to rediscover her roots. Eliza loves hiking in Acadia throughout the year, especially if her trusty pup Juno is beside her.
